Tea Journals and Diaries

Keeping a Tea Journal or Diary is a core part of the work of a Master of Tea.

These can be as a formal bound volume, a purchased pre-set templated one or simply a collection of loose sheets.

We suggest the following sections within the journal or for more in-depth practitioners, a journal for each area.

  1. Tea Ceremonies and Notes
  2. Tea tasting notes and colour samples
  3. Record of experiences of note
  4. Thoughts. Poetry or sketches
  5. Ideas and observations on the Dharma

Master Tenzin now has a collection of over 20 volumes which he frequently updates and takes notes with to produce new and old tea blends, check tea customs or to record an observation of joy and compassion.
